A decisive factor in time saving is the possibility of using light materials during the installation of wall cladding panels for big areas. In The Iceland airport, a supermarket in the Italian Region of Puglia, are some of the main wall cladding constructions where Eulithe®, coupled with acrylic surfaces in the first case and used as core material between marble and sheet in the second case, has enhanced its characterising properties: reduced weight and high structural features.

Today the building sector has a performing material that allows applications such as the preceding one. Ventilated walls and overhead floors are additional areas where Eulithe® can enhance the properties of lightness and as "core material" in the most suitable way.
Eulithe suggests the building sector to use standard Eulithe® with 100 to 200 kg/mc density and PIR Eulithe® for applications where self-extinguishing features of the constructive material is essential.
The excellent soundproof power also increases the uniqueness of the product when constructing equipped walls (RV=30).
In a continuous search for new applications, we are identifying the possibility of "immersing" heating pipes in Eulithe® and cladding surfaces with thin stone materials, as to create a radiant panel for bathrooms and common surfaces.

Pre-engineered decorative elements having big dimensions and structural functions in house building can be easily realized by means of Eulithe® blocks that have to be machined with special cutters and covered with plastic mortars. Parts obtained in this way are then applied in the house, with great time saving and better quality (see Picture of Cortina).
